John Dahlbäck was born in 1985 in a small village not too far away from Stockholm, the Swedish capital. Since everyone in his family was in some way involved with music, it was no surprise when John started making his own. By playing around with his father’s Atari computer, John learned the basics and after several changes in setup he finally found his sound. First demo went out at the age of 15 without any luck, but the second demo did pretty good. With a track out on Route 33 and his first 12_ out on Deep4life, John was heading for the big league. After "Music So Sweet" the releases kept coming, and Johns first label was born together with cousin Jesper. As Hugg & Pepp, the cousins have established a world-known super duo.
Today John is a solo superstar DJ and also the ambassador for Radio Loca.

Lock up your genres - Linus Eklow, aka Style Of Eye, is ripping up the rule book with his debut artist album, difficult to describe as anything other than the sort of music that makes you want to call your boss and tell them you’re not coming back to work on Monday. The Stockholm born and based DJ/producer is making a name for himself in techno, but his productions are essentially a journey through everything from techno to house via raw percussion and minimal, floaty melodies and downright weird noises.
His most recent productions on Dirtybird and John Dahlbäck’s Pickadoll label have been immense - “The Big Kazoo” E.P (Dirtybird) (#1 on the Heavy Rotation in IDJ´s February Issue), was followed up by “The Prophet” (Pickadoll), and the album, released in September 2008 on Pickadoll, was preceded by new single “Girls” in May.

Aged 12 gets his first DJ gig. Aged 16 he wins the Dutch national DJ contest live on national radio. Thankfully the latter venture was something of a passing phase and now the only ‘house’ Mischa Daniels is interested in is the kind that rocks dance floor. Mischa has undergone years of sonic schooling, which has included residencies in his home country and dabbling with productions in his teens “It’s a real adventure choosing what direction is right for you” he says. “I always liked that about music”. His debut release – enthusiastically titled ‘Pumping Groover’ - on WORK Records (home to Dutch house pioneer Olav Basoski) sold bucketloads, and WORK signed him up. The following half dozen releases brought him to the attention of a number of big labels, and in 2005 Armada Music snapped up Mischa to start his own label with them, titled Fame.
Radio Loca published his mix back in November 2008 and really loved his grooves.

Peter shows us on the dance floor that he doesn’t only have a very good music taste and excellent producing skills but moreover he is technically perfect due to his smooth transitions, his appropriate scratches, his beautiful versus with accapelas, his 3 deck mixes, and attention!: some microphone performances! This really is a DEEJAY/ PRODUCER in capital letters…" Fresh from the storming top five success of Fedde Le Grand and Ida Corr’s ‘Let Me Think About It’, Spinnin Records continue their chart assault with the release of Peter Gelderblom’s ‘Waiting 4’ during 2007: a slice of exhilarating dance music, which tore up the white isle that summer. Starting life as a bootleg of the Red Hot Chilli Pepper’s ‘By The Way’, the record immediately had the underground scene buzzing, as the likes of Judge Jules and David Guetta clamoured to get their hands on the track that had crowds chanting for it to be played (check YouTube for the evidence). Pete Tong, Dave Pearce & Judge Jules have all hammered t on Radio 1 leading to early daytime plays from both Jo Whiley & Scott Mills!
We had the “waiting 4” mix here on Radio Loca in August 2008, is he something or not?
